Camera: Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XTi (Canon)
Focal Length: 105 mm
Exposure: 1/500 sec
Aperture: f/5.6
ISO: 400

  • This is ‘Yellow-spotted millipede’. It has very few predators, due to its ability to secrete hydrogen cyanide when threatened and thereore also known as ‘Cyanide millipede’. Its only pedator is Ground beetle. This millipede is an imortant part of forest ecosystem, breaking down leaf litter, and freeing up its nutrients for other organisms.
